How do I schedule a tour?

Am I allowed to hold a date without a deposit?
You may hold up to two dates for 10 business days.

How can I secure the date?
In order to secure space, the Portland Art Museum requires a signed contract, reservation forms and a deposit of 50% of the facility fee.

What does my rental fee include?
Event spaces may be rented from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., or 3 p.m. – 2 a.m. The facility fee will include an on-site Production Manager, staffed coat check (as necessary), full complement of chairs and tables, and room set-up and strike.

Is it possible to add additional time to our function?
Yes. Additional time can be added (when available) at an hourly rate.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A deposit of 50% of the facility fee is required within 30 days of your space reservation. Deposit is refundable, less a $200 administrative fee, if cancellation occurs more than 150 days prior to event date.

When can I access the facility on the day of the event?
Unless otherwise pre-arranged with production staff, access to your event space is limited to the hours specified in your rental agreement.

May I decorate my rented space?
Yes. You are welcome to bring in décor. However, to protect paint, flooring  and other finishes, certain restrictions apply.

Can I bring in my own food, alcohol or catering service?
All food and alcohol must be provided and served by one of PAM’s Exclusive Caterers.

Can I have a rehearsal prior to my wedding day?
Yes.  If you wish to rehearse in a specific space, that space can be reserved for an additional fee. Otherwise, the Museum will allow use of an alternate space for your rehearsal at no charge, provided space is available.

Can I access the galleries during my event?
Yes. Ask us about scheduling a gallery tour with your event.

Is there parking available for my guests?
Yes. In addition to metered street parking, City Center Parking manages the parking lots adjacent to the Museum at the corner of SW Park Avenue and Main Street. To reserve a portion of the lot, please call 503-221-1666, ext. 9 or, for valet parking, call 503-803-3959.

Are there nearby accommodations for our guests?
Yes. The Portland Art Museum is within walking distance of over a dozen hotels. For locations and additional information, please contact Event Sales at 503-276-4291.

Are there any discounts for non-profit organizations?
Absolutely! Call and ask us about the discounts we can offer your non-profit.
